Alaska State Unemployment Insurance (SUI):

Report quarterly wages and contributions by filing Form 07-1004 (Employer's Quarterly Report) by last day of month following end of quarter:

Wage Base is $36,900 for 2013 and $37,400 for 2014
Rates range from 1.54% to 6.06% on employer for 2013 and 1.0% to 2.97% for 2014
New employer rates range from 2.22% to 4.43% for 2013 and 2.3% to 2.97%
Employee withholding is 0.68% on $36,900 for 2013. Employee withholding is 0.62% on $37,400 for 2014.

State Disability Insurance (SDI):

None

State Labor Laws:

Minimum Wage - $7.75 per hour
Termination Pay - Fired - 3 working days. Quit - next regular payday at least three days after employee gives notice.

New Hire Reporting:

Employers must report hiring, rehiring, and return reporting to work within 20 days on CSSD 04-1050 (Alaska New Hire Reporting Form) to:
