Federal Deposit Rules - Monthly | Payroll-Taxes.com

An employer is a monthly depositor of federal employment taxes for the entire calendar year if the aggregate amount of taxes reported on Form 941 (Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return) during the look back period (twelve month period ended June 30, 2005) was less than $50,000. A monthly depositor will become a semi weekly depositor for the first day after the employer becomes subject to the Accelerated Deposit Rule.

Monthly deposits are generally due on the 15th day of the month following the month in which the payroll payments were made. Monthly deposit dates in 2006 are listed in the Federal Tax Calendar.
